During her Bachelor years in Social Sciences, Rebeka gained relevant real-life work experience in various areas relating to the field (in a social political research institute as well as in a community day care institution for psychiatric patients). After a memorable Erasmus semester at Vrije University in Amsterdam, she was accepted into the Master’s program at the University of Amsterdam in a sociology track focusing on organizational and socio-economic phenomena.
Rebeka's main scientific interests are social networks, organizations and evolution intertwined with themes of cooperation, social inequality and knowledge diffusion.
In her free time she does aikido, which is an integral part of her life. Besides, she loves travelling, cycling and taking pictures and she is fascinated by the arts.
