I have obtained my bachelor degree in Economics from the University of Sussex (Brighton, UK), where my work was focused on the gender inequality in the labour market and the effects of automation and AI on employment. I continued working on such issues in my masters in Applied Social Data Science at LSE (London, UK), applying newly learned, more advanced techniques of data analysis.
Motivated by current world events and my previous studies and work in social sciences, in this PhD I would like to explore the sociodemographic aspects of vulnaribility to the consumption and the sharing of fake news, and more generally to develop an understanding of social processes relying on tools of network science.
