Márton Pósfai received his PhD in statistical physics at the Eötvös University, Budapest. During his PhD he spent two years at Northeastern University, Boston in the lab of Prof. Albert-László Barabási. He was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of California, Davis with Prof. Raissa D'Souza, after which he joined the Dept. of Network and Data Science at the Central European University where he is currently an associate professor. His research focuses on network control, random networks, social organization of non-human primates, and more recently physically embedded networks.
