Martí Medina-Hernández is an interdisciplinary social scientist with training in sociology, political science, and quantitative methods. 

Before joining the Ph.D. program in Network Science at CEU, he worked analyzing the transnationalization of the Mexican corporate network and investigating the relationship between sexual networks and sexual orientation expression. 

He has a wide range of interests that span several areas, such as corruption, corporate elites, sexual networks, 4E cognition, and complex social systems in general. 

Currently, he is investigating corruption detection using machine learning and network science techniques under the supervision of János Kertész and Mihály Fazekas.
