Our regular Journal Club at CNS is an excellent opportunity to keep up with the scientific literature and to discuss recent articles around network science related topics and also to learn new things. It was no different today, Tamer Khraisha presented on the paper “The dynamics of collective invention” and we heard an interesting critical review about the spreading of knowledge and innovation in (economic) networks that can lead to further technological change. Although it is more of an informal discussion and you don’t need dressing code for the Journal Club, as we learn today from Tamer, it is advantageous to make sure your clothing matches the topic, so it would help you explain the Moran coefficient.
