Gergely Odor is an SNSF Postdoc Mobility Fellow at the Department of Network and Data Science at the Central European University. He obtained his PhD in Computer Science at the École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in the topic of source identification in the context of epidemics (finding patient zero). Currently, his research is concentrated on developing new mathematical tools to model epidemic propagation in the society.
